This is a fully automated, self-service portal. Products are delivered as codes or files for you to apply yourself (some require an ENET/OBD cable and coding software such as E-Sys). No installation instructions are included. If you're not familiar with BMW & Mini coding, please don't purchase.

When will I receive my order?

Most products — FSC codes, CarPlay codes, repair kits — are generated instantly and appear on screen / as a download within seconds. Service history reports and secure coding run in the background and usually finish in 5–60 seconds.

How do I use bimmerportal?

Create a free account, top up credits, then enter your VIN. We read your exact BMW or Mini and show only the products that fit it. Pick one, pay with credits, and receive your code or file. Everything is saved to your history.

How do I purchase features?

Everything is paid with credits from one prepaid wallet. Top up by card, then spend credits on any product. Each product's price is shown in credits before you confirm.

What is VIN decoding?

It's reading your exact vehicle straight from BMW using your VIN — head unit type, installed navigation maps, region and CarPlay status. This is what lets us show only the products that genuinely apply to your car.

The search isn't working / can't find my car

Double-check the VIN. If a 7-digit VIN matches more than one vehicle, you'll be asked to pick yours and retry with the full 17-digit VIN. If it still fails, the vehicle may not be in BMW's database — no credits are charged for a failed lookup.

The feature I want isn't listed

We only show what's compatible with the head unit we detect. If your unit was retrofitted, or the firmware was updated outside of a main dealer, use the "show all products" option to reveal everything — but you'll need to be sure it applies to your car. Still unsure? Contact us before buying.

Do you offer refunds?

If a generation fails or times out, your credits are refunded automatically — you never pay for a failed request. Because products are delivered digitally and instantly, successfully delivered codes/files aren't refundable.

What if the feature doesn't work?

First make sure you applied it correctly for your exact car (correct region, drive side, and coding method). If you've followed the steps and it still doesn't work, contact us with your VIN and order details and we'll look into it.

Which cars are supported?

BMW and Mini with CIC, NBT, NBT EVO, EntryNav, Champ2, MGU (LIVE / JOY), ENAVEVO (WAY) and EVO ID5/6 head units. The exact products available depend on your specific unit, shown after you decode your VIN.

Is there a developer API?
